Profile

Founded in 2006, E-veniceart.com focuses on the market for modern and contemporary graphic art. While not neglecting traditional communication and commercial channels, the company has made a decisive move into the online space by creating a website designed as a publishing infrastructure—powered by a proprietary, multifunctional Content Management System (CMS). It serves as a showcase for modern and contemporary graphic works passing through this electronic catalog, yet it aims for something more. E-veniceart.com operates as a permanent, distributed gallery. It is "permanent" in the sense that works no longer available—because they have already been sold—are not removed from the electronic catalog but are instead relocated to a separate area for display purposes. It is "distributed" in the sense that the underlying database is designed to host art objects belonging to third parties (galleries, collectors, private individuals) while ensuring complete and distinct traceability for each item.
